The main scientific and technical results obtained in the framework of the project.

On the territory of the Pap district of the Namangan region, unique archaeological materials of the early Medieval period were obtained. The materials provided an opportunity to reconstruct the funeral rite of the ancient inhabitants of the Ferghana Valley in the early Middle Ages. According to the plan and the results of the research, the project manager B. H. Matbabayev prepared and published a scientific monograph entitled "On the history of culture of Ferghana in the Early Middle Ages", with a volume of 22 pp.

The main scientific and technical results obtained in the framework of the project.

In 2010, in order to prepare a scientific catalog of archaeological artifacts of the Surkhandarya region, a part of the materials preserved in the funds of the Termez Museum was processed and put into scientific circulation. But, in 2011, due to the fact that the desired results of the work were not received in a timely manner, the financing of the project was suspended.

The main scientific and technical results obtained in the framework of the project.

More than 1000 archaeological sites of the Samarkand region, belonging to different epochs, have been identified, which are included in the computer database. Each monument is provided with a topographical plan, a description of the monument, and a photo that reflects the current situation. On the basis of the identified monuments, the "Catalog of archaeological monuments of Uzbekistan. Samarkand region. The city of Samarkand and its districts", "Catalog of archaeological sites of Uzbekistan. Samarkand region. Nurabad district". Archaeological catalogues of Samarkand, Urgut, Kattakurgan, Narpai, Tailak, Kushrabat, Jambay and Bulungur districts of the Samarkand region have been prepared. The project has published 5 scientific papers, including 2 catalogues, 3 articles.
